Balance the strategic and the operational: leadership wants to see program design (performance frameworks, compensation bands, succession planning) while line managers want evidence you handle the hard conversations. Certifications matter here — SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR belong in a dedicated section near the top. Avoid empty values language (“passionate about people”) that your own screeners would skip past; let the retention and hiring numbers carry the warmth.
